My "Dream Vacations", a Mexico inclusive...

My first time visiting the beautiful country of Mexico I had only expectations of blue crystal clear water, but it all surpassed that expectation and I cannot wait to go back to discover and explore the country once again.

I was fortunate enough to have a friend book us a trip through "Dream Vacations". The trip was for an all inclusive resort with options for excursions (yes, all inclusive... it was my first one and I loved it!).

The resort I stayed at was Ocean Riviera Paradise, a 5 Star rated resort and one I would definitely recommend. The resort is located in Playa del Carmen, which I hear is more relaxed and a tad calmer than its neighbouring city, Cancun. I have yet to visit Cancun and compare but so far from what I experienced, Playa del Carmen is definitely relaxed and has some calm vibes...But this also depends which resort you are staying at too.

Food

AWWW man food is amazeballs. We all know one of the best feelings is ordering food at a restaurant, (fancy restaurant I might just add), and not have to pay afterwards... That's all inclusive for you. No need to carry your wallet around, just go in and eat, then leave as you please. Here's some food pictures for your delight.

Excursions

For excursions, I managed to pack in two days worth of sightseeing for the lovely price of $300 USD (estimate). I visited Chichen Itza & a cenote on our third day, followed by Tulum and Xel-Ha waterpark on our fourth day. Both days included a guided tour and water-bottles, for Xel-Ha, the waterpark, all drinks and meals were included with the entrance ticket.

Needless to say but, I will be definitely going back to Mexico. There's still so much to see and experience and more friends to make! I've also made a quick recap of our time there, here's a link to the video.

Tell us how your first experience was like or what we should do next on our next visit to Mexico in the comments below :) I look forward to reading some!
